2013-16 (TCU): As a junior, Calvin played in 12 games, missing just the Autozone Liberty Bowl. He had four tackles, all on special teams. In 2015, he did not see game action. As a redshirt freshman, he played in nine games and had a tackle at Texas. In 2013, he redshirted.
HIGH SCHOOL: Ranked the No. 7 cornerback in Texas and No. 78 in the nation by FOX?Sports Next/Scout.com. He was No. 120 overall in the Midlands 150. Calvin was named Centennial’s Most Improved Player and Special Teams Most Valuable Player his senior year. Had two interceptions for 71 yards, scored a touchdown on a fumble recovery and totaled 40 tackles.
PERSONAL: Son of Carlton Calvin and Robin Askew. Born 22 November 1994 in Fayetteville, Ark. Father, Carlton played football at Arkansas and step-father, Chad Askew played at Pittsburgh. Graduated from Frisco Centennial High School.
